Sixteen-year-old Bobby Whiteside has spent years dreading the holiday season after his father’s sudden abandonment and the tragic loss of his best friend on Christmas Eve. But when he uncovers an otherworldly, perfectly groomed ice rink hidden deep on a snow-covered lake that appears only after dark, a long-buried spark reignites just in time to take on an impossible fight. A Miracle on Christmas Lake follows Bobby Whiteside (Kristian Wang), an isolated teen who abandoned his teammates and the sport he loved following the sudden death of his best friend, Charlie. Desperate for solace, Bobby retreats to the frozen lake where they once practiced, only to discover a mystical ice rink that manifests exclusively at night when he is completely alone. As visions of happier times begin to mend his grief, Bobby's sanctuary is threatened when a ruthless commercial real estate firm, headed by his own estranged older brother, Jeremy (Jayson Therrien), plans to demolish the lakefront for high-dollar development. Joining forces with his high school crush Karen (Siobhan Williams) and guided by the eccentric wisdom of a local Mall Santa (Will Sasso), Bobby rallies the entire community for one decisive, high-stakes hockey showdown on the ice to defend sacred memories and prove that some bonds can never be bought out. This heartwarming holiday film is perfect for fans of uplifting sports dramas, full free Christmas movies, heartfelt family dramas, small-town redemption stories, inspiring teen coming-of-age journeys, and magical holiday miracle films.
